The company is engaged in the management of airports. It was incorporated in January of 2000. The company has a registered head office located in Madrid, Spain. The company, the leading independent ground handling services provider in the Rome airport system, is involved in activities of freight forwarder and cargo agencies. It provides handling services to more than 100 carriers from throughout the world at Rome's Fiumicino (Leonardo da Vinci) and Ciampino (Giovan Battista Pastine) airports, thereby covering approximately 90 percent of the overall carriers operating from these airports. The company offers its customers a wide range of handling services, including passenger check-in and boarding, assistance to arriving passengers and Lost & Found, weight and balance, ramp supervision and flight co-ordination, aircraft loading and unloading, baggage sorting and delivery, aircraft interior cleaning, transportation of passengers, crews and cargo. It was established to provide services in nine leading Italian airports (Bologna, Cagliari, Catania, Milan Linate, Milan Malpensa, Naples, Palermo, Turin and Venice). The company is present in Belgium through its subsidiary companies. One of its subsidiaries is Aeroporti di Roma Handling S.p.A. in Breve ADR-Handling S.p.A., an Italian-based company primarily engaged in the provision of airports, flying fields and airport terminal services. Other subsidiary of the company is Flightcare Belgium, a company involved in the supporting air transport activities.
