The company is engaged as a business credit institution. It was incorporated in November 2005, and has a registered office primarily located in Madrid, Spain. The company is a Spanish privately held enterprise whose business is principally involved in furnishing intermediate or long-term general and industrial credit, including finance leasing, as well as the issuance of preferred shares and other debt instruments. It offers a range of business lending services, such as agricultural lending (except real estate and sales financing), short-term inventory credit, and consumer cash lending secured by personal property. The major shareholder, Caja General De Ahorros De Canarias - Caja Canarias, holds the 100 percent total ownership stake of the company as of March 2008.
