The company, with registered head office located in Madrid, Spain, is primarily engaged in the operation of a biology education park. It operates the Faunia Parque Biológico de Madrid, one of Madrid's newest attractions. Its role is to bring wildlife into the city and with 140,000 square metres of parkland containing more than 1,500 different animals from different climates and ecosystems. There are four distinct zones within Faunia and a total of ten different pavilions offering distinct ecosystems - from Arctic to Tropical. Perhaps the most impressive things are the volcan recreation (complete with lava flowing) and the underwater gallery. The company was incorporated in 1998.
