The company is primarily engaged in the central purchasing of steel products in Spain. It is formed by associated companies, making up a group of over 20 warehouses or sales points, with more than 120.000 square meters of covered surface, located all over Spain. It was established in 1987 by the initiative of several small and medium size stockist of steel products, who, with the aim of improving their competitiveness, decided to group and combine their purchase potentials. The company has a registered office located in Madrid, Spain. The company manages, for its associated members, the purchase of all kind of steel products, from reinforcing bars to beams and commercial profiles, including pipe, plate, wire mesh, etc. Its products include plate/strip (chequer, hot rolled, pickled, galvanized, tear, cold rolled, prepainted); pipe (round, square, rectangular, structural, galvanized, specials); reinforcing bar; electrowelded mesh; structural profile (IPE, IPN, UPN, UPE, HEA, HEB, HEM); and merchant bar (angles, wide flats, flats, square, round, tees). The company's main success is based on the fact of being able to bring together a group of serious and solvent stockist of steel products, with broad experience, while, at the same time, obtaining the support from the most prestigious suppliers, both national and from the european union and other countries. It maintains close and constant relations with other European purchasing associations, jointly analyzing potential collaboration projects for the future.
