The company, also known as Drace, and with registered head office located in Madrid, Spain, is engaged in the domestic and international civil works and building construction industries. The company provides engineering technological components, specialists and special techniques and equipments. It works in three general areas: Marine Works-Special Projects includes the construction of singular structures and highly technical bridges, precasting concrete elements and marine works of all types; Environmental Works handles all matters related to water treatment; and the Caracola Modular Building Constructions carries out activities aimed towards the systemization and construction of prefabricated and industrialized buildings. It was founded in January 1999. It is a leader in its sector. The company participates in numerous R&D projects and collaborates with prestigious universities and research centers. It also has rental pools in Madrid, Barcelona, Seville and Valencia with more than 50,000 m2 of one-room and modular buildings. In addition, the company has built more than a million square meters of modular building constructions and exported solutions to numerous countries. It designs and owns fixed and mobile plants for building precast elements of all types ranging from heavy to light and including GRC elements. Furthermore, it has more than 750,000 sq.m of installations dedicated to precasting concrete, and it holds AENOR's Quality and Environmental Certificates according to the ISO-9,001 and ISO 14,001 standards within GRUPO DRAGADOS' policy on quality.
