Manufacture of sugar

The company is engaged in the production and sale of sugar, alcohol, and various by-products. It was incorporated in the year 1986 and has its registered head office located in Madrid, Spain. The company offers white and brown cane sugar; and molasses, the principal raw material for producing alcohol, citric acid, and bread-making yeast. More than 2,000 employees work at its plants located all over Spain. The sugar produced in these plants comes from collecting harvests from approximately 13,000 growers who every year supply the company with the finest raw materials. The company operates as a subsidiary of British Sugar Plc, the second largest sugar producer in the world.
