The company, with registered main office located in the city of Madrid, Spain, is engaged in the manufacture and sale of starter engines and alternators. It is part of the Bosch Group, one of the world's largest private industrial corporations. The industrial activity of the company was strongly harnessed after its incorporation in 1978 to the Bosch group, and most especially in 1992, when the Division responsible for the development and manufacture of alternator and starter engines decided that a new family of alternators also be made in Treto: the compact alternators. Since then, it constitutes the base of the production of the company. Actually, the company makes more than five million apparatus in a year with three product families: compact starter engines, and alternators.
