The company is a private entity primarily engaged in the production and supply of bioethanol which is used as a direct additive in gasoline. It owns and operates a bioethanol plant in Castilla La Mancha, Spain that produces more than 33 million liters per year. The company was incorporated in 2002 and has its headquarters in Madrid. Moreover, it is owned by URIEL Investments (50%) and ACCIONA Energy (50%), the largest developer and constructor of windparks in the world. ACCIONA is also present in other electric power generation technologies based on renewable energy sources such as solar thermal, photovoltaic, and biomass.
