MC Power Project Management S.L. is a private company engaged in the construction, design and development of plants for the production of electricity. The company's registered head office is located in Madrid, Spain. The company was incorporated in August 2002. MC Power Project Management is involved in turnkey projects within the energy sector in Spain. The company is partly responsible for the setting up of a combined cycle energy plant and for putting it into operation. The company's full range of services may include contractual actions through a system or subsystem, equipment installation phase and follow-on contractual actions such as logistical and operational support. One of the company's reference projects is the setting up of an advanced combined-cycle plant on a stretch of land in the Port of Escombreras. The project comprises of a combined-cycle electricity-generating plant with a rated production capacity of 1200 MW, arranged in 3 generating modules in a single-shaft configuration, of 400 MW each. The plant was built under the terms of a turnkey contract through a consortium formed by Mitsubishi Corporation, MC Power Project Management SL and Initec Energía, S.A. MC Power Project Management is a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corporation, Japan's largest general trading company (sogo shosha) with more than 200 bases of operations in approximately 80 countries worldwide.
