The company is engaged in making investments in mid-to-upper middle market Iberian companies, with the objective of creating value through an active industrial ownership model. It was founded in the year 2006 and has its registered head office located in the city of Madrid, Spain. The company is known as one of the largest private equity firms focused exclusively in Spain and Portugal (Iberia). It is focused on making primarily control investments in companies with attractive business models in the industrial and services sectors in Spain and Portugal. It targets companies with significant value creation potential, where it can leverage the team's management and operational capabilities and first-class network of relationships to transform companies. The company typically invests between EUR 50 to EUR 150 million in companies with EUR 150 to EUR 800 million of enterprise value, but will consider selective larger or smaller investments. The company's goal is to transform its portfolio companies by addressing their historical constraints, thereby enabling them to break-out and reach their full potential with respect to profitability, growth, and ultimately market value. It prefers to invest in companies that have been historically constrained from reaching their full economic potential. It includes family-owned companies with potential for further professionalization of management and increased operating efficiencies; dormant spin-offs in need of focus and resources; companies with a misaligned shareholder structure and/or family succession challenges; and domestically-oriented companies with potential for cross-Iberian and international expansion. The company has invested in a wide range of companies that include: Eptisa Grupo Empresarial SL, Generis - Farmaceutica, S.A., Vendap Loc-Aluguer Venda de Equipmentos, S.A., Iberwind, and Pretersa Prenavisa Estructuras de Hormingong SL.
