The bank is engaged in bancassurance distribution activities. The bank was incorporated in May of 1996 and has its registered business office in Madrid, Spain. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Caja de Ahorros y Monte de Piedad de Segovia (Caja Segovia). The bank has a distribution agreement with the Spanish insurance company CASER. As a bank sales channel for selling insurance products, it exclusively distributes CASER life insurance and pensions products to its customers. CASER, itself controlled by a significant number of Spanish savings banks, is a leading insurance company distributing insurance and pensions products to customers of Spanish savings banks.
