It was incorporated in March of 2007 and has its registered headquarters in Madrid, Spain. The company is a subsidiary of Suzlon Energy Ltd., which is considered as the world's 5th leading wind power equipment manufacturer. Based in Ahmedabad, India, Suzlon has production plants which are located in India (Chakhan, Chhadvel, Chandrapura, Paddhar, Daman and Pondicherry), the United States (Minnesota), China (Tianjin), and Belgium (Edegem). Suzlon also has representative offices located in India, the United States, Denmark, the Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand, China, Spain, Portugal, Brazil and Italy.
