The company, with registered head office in Madrid, Spain, is engaged in the purchase, management and sale of stocks, shares and other investments as well as in the activities auxiliary to financial intermediation. The company was incorporated in October of 1998. The company's services include real estate credit, sales financing, consumer lending, mortgage banking, personal and business credit, and other activities related to credit intermediation. The company's subsidiaries in Spain include Acerinox SA, which is involved in the manufacture and distribution of stainless steel products including flat stainless steel products, long stainless steel products and stainless steel wire; and Myalertcom S.A., which is active in the provision of computer related services. In addition, Landis Inversiones is active in Canada through its subsidiary Telant Investments (Canada) Limited/Les Placements Telant. In 1999, Landis Inversiones, together with Capran Patrimonial S.A., purchased Le 999 - an 18-storey building located in Montreal, Quebec in Canada.
