Production of electricity
This company invests in renewable energy projects, mainly wind, photovoltaic and thermo-solar energy farms. Formed by a group of former CEOs of leading Spanish multinational companies operating in the renewable industry, with more than twelve years experience in the sector, the company has a proven track record in developing, financing, construction and operating renewable energy assets. It was incorporated in 2007 and conducts business from its registered head office which is strategically located in Madrid, Spain. The company's business activities specializes in generating, transmitting, and/or distributing electric power and other related energy services. It has expertise in operating electric facilities for the production and sale of energy, and other generation facilities that produces electric energy, transmission systems that conveys the electricity from the generation facility to the distribution system, as well as distribution systems that conveys electric power received from the generation facility or the transmission system to the final consumer. As of 2009, the company's projects have generated 46,100 MWh of energy, equivalent to meeting the annual electricity needs of 11,000 homes, and have prevented the atmospheric emission of 4,150 mt of CO2.
