Development of building projects

The company, with registered head office located in Madrid, Spain, is engaged as a land management company active in the processing of town planning procedures, development of urban services projects, development works, infrastructures and amenities, and in the property development for industrial and residential use. It is a trading company which was set up in 1981 to develop and market industrial plots. The company is a public entity owned by the Comunidad de Madrid Government that forms part of its Institutional Administration. The company has the legal form of a Mercantile Limited Company and, therefore, acts under the Private Law regime. The whole of the company's share capital is owned by the Comunidad de Madrid Government. The company is permanently subject to a double control over its management, derived from its own nature as a limited company and as a public company. Its activity is complementary to the private sector by putting on the market development land at affordable prices. The company is a tool at the service of the region's development in coordination with local administrations and it is an instrument through which the Regional Government undertakes projects for generating development land with a high degree of environmental protection for use in residential, industrial, offices and commercial infrastructures.
