The company has its head office in Madrid, Spain and was incorporated in 1946. Its three main businesses are the promotion and sale of housing, land development and the development and leasing of property. The first one is the main activity. The company focuses on those activities that generate the highest value added: management of land and real estate projects. Its land bank is comprised of four million square meters of land with planning permission across more than 35 cities in Spain and an additional 100,000 square meters in Lisbon. The company holds portfolio of rental assets of 400,000 square meters. In 2005, it began incorporation in the United States of America through Urbis USA, Inc., which is primarily engaged in real estate operations in Miami, Florida. The company is listed on the Madrid Stock Exchange.
