It specializes in constructing and operating a number of thermal power plants that burn all types of fossil fuels (in solid, liquid and gas states). The company also specializes in providing diesel and gas turbine power plants, solar power plants and other sources of renewable energy, hydroelectric power plants, desulfurization and cleaning of combustion exhaust, dual plants and potable water plants, and fuel storage yards, among others. It has constructed 120 thermoelectric plants in Spain and abroad. The company also has installed 75 percent of coal fired power plants in Spain. The company's plants abroad are located in Jorf Lasfar, Morocco; in Mejillones, Chile; in Ya He Kou, China; in Trinitaria, Ecuador; the diesel power plant in Rockfort-Kingston, Jamaica and the thermal power plant (biomass) in Fort Fairfield, Maine, United States. It has participated in the execution of combined cycle projects in Egypt.
